While ADHD evaluations for children and teens may be more well-known, many adults experience undiagnosed ADHD that impacts their work/school performance, social-emotional functioning, and overall mental health. Those with undiagnosed ADHD face a higher risk of mental health issues like depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders. It can also cause trouble with focus, motivation, and managing emotions, affecting daily life at school, work, or home. Undiagnosed ADHD can lead to risky, impulsive behaviors and may be tied to lower self-esteem and a higher risk of self-harm.
If you or your child experiences persistent difficulties with focus, impulsivity, or hyperactivity that significantly impact daily life, a formal evaluation may provide the needed clarity and access to resources and intervention options. For adults, it's never too late to be evaluated!

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Comprehensive Evaluations
Diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) requires a comprehensive evaluation by a trained clinician who is experienced in diverse presentations of neurodivergence. An accurate evaluation includes several components, including behavioral observation and a structured diagnostic assessment of social traits, repetitive behaviors, restricted/fixated interests, and sensory experiences. Neeley Psychological Services' assessment protocol includes the psychological testing industry's best practices and leading assessment instruments. A detailed written diagnostic report will be provided at the conclusion of the assessment.

Neeley Psychological Services recognizes that many clients seeking an ASD evaluation, especially adults, have concerns about the diagnostic process and whether their traits will be acknowledged. Our process is very collaborative and identity-affirming. We strive to make the process supportive, validating, and educational. Your clinician will focus on your lived experiences, which are even more important than any data obtained from a clinical diagnostic tool. The goal is to reach a diagnostic outcome that offers an affirming and helpful lens through which to view your traits and life narrative.
